We consider it a privilege to be allowed to nurture and teach each child who has been entrusted to our care. Our goal is to develop a three-way partnership between the family, the church, and the school to effectively disciple every student, leading them to pursue a life that honors Jesus Christ and serves His people. To that end, we employ certified, professional teachers who prayerfully invest their lives in our children every day, modeling for them dedication to God’s calling, an excellent work ethic, and respect in all relationships. Through intentional, systematic Biblical integration of all subject areas our teachers lay the foundation for a Biblical worldview, enabling the students to recognize the universe as the work of God’s hand, that “in all things He might have the preeminence…” Colossians 1:18
Life Way uses various curriculum materials to ensure that each subject area is approached with the strongest resources available. A Kingdom Education encompasses all of the traditional academic disciplines with an emphasis on understanding God’s design and seeking His glory in each one. We believe that encouraging our students to pursue excellence in academics is valuable training for the pursuit of excellence in all facets of life, including career, community involvement, and service to God through the church.

The curriculum is focused on core courses in Bible, Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies, with concentration on the phonemic awareness, reading development and comprehension. A high value is placed on reading, math, and biblical integration in all content areas. All of our teachers work together to encourage and support each student’s spiritual and academic growth.
Students have the opportunity to explore their love for the Arts in elementary school through weekly art and music classes, as well as through drama and worship arts experiences. In both fall and spring semesters, each student will participate in a choral perfromance that demonstrates the love of Christ through music and singing. In the spring, each student will have a piece of art work displayed during our annual art fair that represents one of their best projects from the year.

Our elementary and middle school sports program is offered in partnership with local community organizations and provides young students with an exciting opportunity to develop athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Led by dedicated parent coaches, our program fosters a supportive environment where children can grow physically and socially while having fun. Our sports offerings encourage active participation and community spirit. To become a Little Warrior and get involved, contact our Athletic Director at kbritton@lwcsar.com.
Our elementary and middle school students embark on a meaningful journey of spiritual growth through a Christ-centered educational approach. Biblical integration is woven into core content areas, fostering a deep understanding of faith in everyday learning. Dedicated biblical instruction provides students with foundational knowledge and values, while weekly chapel services offer opportunities for worship, reflection, and community. This holistic approach nurtures students’ spiritual development, guiding them to grow in faith and character. The current curriculum being used at both the elementary and middle school levels is called DeepRoots Bible.

Life Way offers academic support through our Learning Enrichment Center. The Learning Enrichment Center is to meet students at the point of their need and help move them to the peak of their potential. Identified students may receive pullout services during their school day to either provide a level of academic and/or test support. For more information about these services and if your student qualifies, please contact the Elementary Office.
Weekly Special Areas courses are offered in physical education, art, music, STEM and library. To support both physical health and mental growth, all students enjoy daily recess alongside weekly physical education classes. Recess serves as a valuable time for guided play, allowing children to develop social skills and interact with peers under adult supervision without direct adult involvement.
