“Survey the path for your feet, and all your ways will be sure.”
Cross Country is a sport in which teams and individuals run a race on open-air courses over natural terrain, such as dirt or grassy fields. Teams consist of five or more runners who all race together at the same time with other teams. Varsity races are 3.1 miles long.
Life Way’s Cross Country team is comprised of males and females in grades 7 through 12. Our conditioning training begins in the early summer and continues until tryouts in early August.
Our Cross Country coaches teach hard work and personal development is key to success. With Cross Country being an individual sport, each team member is urged to try and reach their full potential by furthering their talent and technique as a runner.
