“The Mind” 1. Students will have an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of technology 2. Students will have an appreciation of languages and other cultures 3. Students will have an appreciation of literature and the arts, and will understand how they express and shape their beliefs and values 4. Students will have a knowledge and understanding of people, events, and movements of history 5. Students will be proficient in math and science 6. Students will demonstrate an advanced proficiency in reading, writing, and critical thinking skills 7. Students will demonstrate a grade appropriate, biblically integrated knowledge and understanding of course subject matter in all completed subjects 8. Students will be committed to life-long learning 9. Students will have the skills needed to question, solve problems, and make wise decisions 10. Students will be productive citizens who vote, volunteer, and are involved
“The Body” 1. Students will understand the worth of every human being as created in the image of God 2. Students will realize that they are fearfully and wonderfully made 3. Students will understand that their body is the temple of God, created and equipped to do good works for Christ Jesus 4. Students will be prepared to practice the principals of healthy living 5. Students will use the abilities that God has given them for His glory
“The Spirit” 1. Students will come to know Christ Jesus as their Savior 2. Students will understand the need for Christ to be preeminent in all of life 3. Students will continue to grow in Christ and in knowledge of Him 4. Students will apply Scripture to life and every decision 5. Students will examine all of life through the lens of Scripture 6. Students will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus 7. Students will be able to stand firm in the faith and live a Christ-centered life 8. Students will realize God’s purpose for their life and follow his will 9. Students will understand the major doctrines presented in Scripture 10. Students will realize that God has given them a spiritual gift for them to use for His glory 11. Students will demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Goodness, Kindness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control 12. Students will be an active member of a local, Bible believing church 13. Students will learn to pray and will spend time in His Word daily 14. Students will be good stewards of the gifts, talents, and resources that God has given them
“The Great Commission” 1. Students will be able to effectively communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ 2. Students will be able to defend and explain the basic tenants of the Gospel 3. Students will be able to articulate and embrace a Biblical worldview and have an understanding of opposing worldviews 4. Students will be leaders and not followers in the work place 5. Students will take a stand for Christ and live a courageous life for Him 6. Students will recognize Satan’s/World’s lies and be able to stand against them 7. Students will relate appropriately with integrity to the people with whom they work, play, and live
