Student Life

Students at Life Way Christian School are blessed to have a number of activities that allow them to apply what they have learned in the classroom and also gain further knowledge outside of the classroom setting. These activities also build school unity and bring the students together.

Chapels:
Every student in preschool through 12 grade will be involved in a weekly chapel time. It is during these times that the student led praise team leads the student body in worship. Local pastors, teachers, and other special speakers bring a weekly message that will encourage, challenge, and motivate students in Christ.

Field Trips:
Students are blessed to have a number of opportunities to bring the classroom to life as they apply what they have learned and see testimony of what they have learned in the classroom. Several of the field trips that our students take are:

Preschool - Fire Department, Pumpkin Patch, Fun City, Gentry Safari, and more

Elementary - KLRC Radio Station, State parks, War Eagle Cave, Banks, Harber Village, Rocky Branch School House, Prairie Grove, State Capitol, Tulsa Aquarium, air museum, and more

Secondary - Yearbook trips, Silver Dollar City, University of Arkansas, New Life Ranch, Kansas City History museums, and more

New Life Ranch:
Our 6th through 8th grade classes take a 3-day retreat each year in order to build class unity and develop friendships that will last throughout the year. Students participate in recreational, teambuilding, and other activities. There is also a spiritual focus daily with worship and music being a big part of this trip.

Trips:
We are currently looking into the possibility of taking mission trips, DC trips, College tours, and other community service trips for the 2012-2013 school year.

Other Activities:
Senior lunches, homecoming, junior/senior banquet, family nights, field days, staff versus the student competitions and so much more.
